I am having surgery to have a umbilical hernia repaired long is the healing process HOW SOON CAN I HAVE LIPO/BBL

These procedures can be performed together.  If the hernia is done first, I typically have my patients wait 3 months after before getting the liposuction.  If the liposuction is done first, then the hernia can really be done immediatly after.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I would not have a problem doing liposuction even concurrently with an umbilical hernia repair. I think you can proceed anytime you wish.

If your surgeons can coordinate it, it scan be done at the same time. If not, I would what until you are healed and the tissues are soft. Probably 3-4 months would be reasonable.

You can have your hernia surgery anytime you wish and you can have liposuction at the same time as well as a BBL.    Discuss this with your surgeon and make a plan.  My Best,  Dr C
