3 weeks post op, I wear foam between my garment on my abs under my zipper. Will I get uneven results on my abs?

I am 3 weeks post lipo to the abs hips and flanks. I wear foam between my garment on my abs under my zipper but it makes the flank area too tight. My PS said I could wear the foam if I want to he did not recommend it but after reading many reviews I liked the idea of using the foam under the zipper it does leave marks without it. My flanks feel so much better without it can I remove the foam at this stage? will I get uneven results on my abs. How long do you usually suggest the use of the foam?
