You are still only 7 weeks out, so it's not too late to try conservative management. Techniques like massage and compression with foam are what I typically recommend. Formal massage to the abdomen may be recommended as well. Discuss this with your surgeon who should be on board helping you out.

Far more important than the technique is the skill and experience of your plastic surgeon. Choose your surgeon rather than the technique and let them explain why one technique may be better than another.  See the below link on some suggestions on finding the most qualified Plastic Surgeon for you.  Always insist on a board certified plastic surgeon.

I recommend following up with your Doctor to make sure your compression garment fits correctly. I have my patients wear customized compression. For liposuction after care, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. The skin fold may improve with time and massage. Radiofrequency skin tightening may also help. I would not recommend considering surgical revision for another month or two. If needed, this will probably require a tummy tuck to pull the skin down and eliminate the fold.

You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is very normal.
Continue with the lymphatic massages and to use a full body compression garment, 24/7 for the first 3 months, and after that, for 12 hours a day for 3 more months, to get the best results.
If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

Dear Hopeless,Thanks for your question and concerns.  You are only 7 weeks post op so there will certainly be improvement over the next few months.  That being said, I have not seen a crease as deep and defined as yours at the 7 week mark.  I would continue to follow your surgeon's suggestions, but I might change my garment ato see if you can put pressure on the fold of skin above and below the crease to soften the crease.I would not spend any more money on hyperbaric, massages (other than doing them yourself) or any other treatment until at least 4 months post op when the true shape will be present.Best of luck with your continued healing.Dr T
