Parrot beak 5.5 months after rhinoplasty - Could I have developed Polly beak deformity? (photo)

I am 5.5 months post op. Had a nasal hump removal. The hump seems fine . The swelling days looked fine with no beaky tip. But 5.5 months after the tip has started to look like a beak . Could you please help me to know what could be wrong with this result of mine. I have read about Polly break deformity. Is it what I have developed ? Please help.

It is normal to have some residual swelling following Rhinoplasty procedure which takes 3-9 months to resolve, completely. I do not think, you have any deformity.

You should wait for 6 months more till all micro edema subsides ,after that you can make judgement about results and decide if you want to have a revision Rhinoplasty

The performance of rhinoplasty involves the separation of the nasal bones and cartilages from overlying and underlying structures, fracturing the nasal bones, removing excess bone / cartilage, reshaping of the remaining bone and cartilage. The significant intraoperative trauma causes swelling (which may be asymmetric), which will make your nose look large and wide. 60-80% of the swelling will resolve within 6 weeks, with the remainder slowly abating over 6-12 months. The nasal tip is notorious for taking the longest time. At this point one cannot discern between residual swelling and a small pollybeak.
It is recommended that you wait until swelling has totally abated before contemplating any revision. Is the tip still firm? 
I recommend you schedule reevaluation by your plastic surgeon and express your concerns.
