We are fortunate to have 30 different laser and light sources and can compare the efficacy of these modalities. For tightening the neck I prefer Ultherapy, Thermacool CPT with total tip 1200 pulse tip, and pelleve. if there is a lot of skin damage and blood vessels and brown spots in addition to sagging I suggest Venus Viva or Mixto fractional Co2 laser resurfacing. I have seen 30-40% improvement in the sagging of the neck after 3 sessions with nano fractional Venus Viva (not the non ablative diamond hand-piece but the ablative one with the needles). Find an experience practitioner and discuss all your options.
Viva helps complexion, fine wrinkles, and crepey skin but it cannot lift the skin or tighten. Please see an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
Yes, Venus Viva may be a useful treatment for neck sagging skin. It can help tighten and firm the skin by stimulating the formation of collagen using NanoFractional Radio Frequency technology. Yet, results might be different, so it's necessary to consult with an expert to find out if this is the right option to take for your specific needs.
Good Day. Thank you for your question.RADIO FREQUENCY is an energy used in medical for decades and can ablate tissue (used in shrinking and killing cancer masses), kill muscle (as my partners at Stanford University got FDA approved to shrink the tongue in sleep apnea and increase the airway size), and can result in Skin Tightening. In my clinical practice, Venus Viva being a RF device, if increased overall energy is applied, can result in skin tightening. The clinical indications is pigment improvement, skin resurfacing and skin tightening. However, the amount of skin tightening that can be attained, may not be satisfactory to achieve an acceptable aesthetic outcome. Subcutaneous volume and skin excess and laxity are direct components if the treatment will yield patient satisfaction. Our clinical treatment protocol uses the maximum energy levels with 3-5 passes during each session. With these energy levels, skin tightening can occur.Mild skin tightening can result in satisfactory neck aesthetic result, while more significant excess and inelastic skin may require internal ultrasound (VASER), RF (Thermi) or laser (Alma 1740 nm internal laser probe) or a neck lift alone or associated with a facelift. In summary, Venus Viva RF Can result in skin tightening.with maximum energy levels. Best of luck!
Venus Viva is a radio frequency treatment but the depths don't go down far enough to treat sagginess. It is more for fine lines, melasma, and skin resurfacing, but not tightening and sagging. Fractora RF does as long as it is done on the highest levels of treatment, but many doctors don't treat with these levels. Consult an expert in your area for options. Venus Viva isn't usually used to treat active acne, although it can help with uneven skin texture and the look of acne scars. In fact, using Venus Viva on spots that are already active may aggravate the skin and exacerbate the acne. It is advisable to concentrate on therapies for hyperactive...
Indeed, even if a man shaves, Venus Viva can be used safely over his bearded region. To prevent irritation, just be careful to shave the area prior to performing any kind of treatment. It's critical that you adhere to any pre- and post-treatment care recommended by your physician.
Halo uses laser technology and Venus Viva uses radiofrequency technology. It is totally different. Viva can be used on all skin types, where as the Halo should be avoided in darker skin (Fitzpatrick 4-6).
Thank you for the photos. In one of the photos, showing the forehead area, I can still see a lot of pinpoint crusting from the Venus Viva. Generally speaking after 4 days most (if not all) of the crusting should have cleared. Please discuss this with your surgeon. Venus Viva is a great tool to...
