Question

Has anyone ever see a a reacrion to venus viva 4 days agtee treatment like this? I have red hives all over my face. I did the laser for a few pigmentation spors but have always had smooth skin. Im very worried about this. Ive done fraxil and c02 and have never had these reactions. Please advise

Thank you for the photos. In one of the photos, showing the forehead area, I can still see a lot of pinpoint crusting from the Venus Viva. Generally speaking after 4 days most (if not all) of the crusting should have cleared. Please discuss this with your surgeon. Venus Viva is a great tool to inject Radio Frequency energy under the skin and remove finer blood vessels, wrinkles, and Acne scars.  You may just need a better skin care regimen to remove the crusts and a shot of kenelog (anti-inflammatory). Another condition to be aware of is Acne Rosacea. Venus Viva can sometime temporarily cause a Rosacea flare. I pre- teat my patients with a short course of oral antibiotics. If you suffer from Acne Rosacea discuss it with your Dermatologist.
