Dental check up after Rhinoplasty?

Hi Drs , I am almost 2 years post open tip rhi noplasty. Silly question, but It is safe to get a dental check up at this point? I am afraid that opening my mouth wide may cause deformation to my nose tip. Thanks

Pinching of the nose will not cause cartilage damage unless the pinching is so strong as to cause fracture and bleeding.  I don't believe finger pinching could generate that much force. Swelling, pain and drainage could definitely occur but shouldn't leave any permanent damage.
