16mm receding chin. Will a 10mm sliding genioplasty be enough for me? (Photo)

I have a 16mm receding chin. Jaw surgery is not an option for me. My surgeon told me that the maximum chin advancement he could do is 10mm. I'm excited to do the genioplasty but I'm afraid of the result... do you think that 10mm will be enough and good looking?

A widening bony genioplasty is not going to make a square chin like you have shown. That has distinct corners which can only be created by an implant or adding an implant to a sliding genioplasty. Doing a split sliding genioplasty with a midline graft will make the chin wider, just not square...

You do appear to have some recession of your chin. This can be augmented with fillers or an implant and this should help to balance your profile.
