Is it better to undergo revision rhinoplasty now and then do Alma TED?

I am set to undergo revision rhinoplasty. However, I am concerned about hair loss. I experienced it after my first rhinoplasty (I still do not know if it was attributed to the surgery or stress in my life at the time). I was planning to do hair loss treatment (Alma TED) and then revision rhinoplasty. However, is it better to undergo revision rhinoplasty now and then do Alma TED? Please advise

Hello and thank you for your question. The timing of your revision rhinoplasty should not interfere with the hair loss treatment. I think either one is fine to do first. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

When somebody is experiencing unusual, or unnatural hair loss, the best specialist to consult with is a dermatologist. There are certain dermatologic conditions that lead to hair loss, and there are also endocrinologic conditions that can lead to hair loss like hypothyroidism. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
