Crowns after three years following accident - what is this white spot? (Photo)

My tooth turned grey after a bad accident. I had to get a root canal and put a crown over it. The tooth still looked a bit grey after the crown because the tooth was very damaged. I have a white spot on the inside of the crown now for that tooth. What could this be? I don't want to lose my tooth
