Hi, A Rule of thumb is how many teeth will be on the arch of oral cavity. If patient wants go for him or her to be recovered by dental implant supported fixed partial denture(bridge), first thing that is going to be considered is how many teeth would be ideal for the patient, If Ideally, patient chose 14 teeth, it could be ideal with 8 implants supported fixed partial denture. If patient and doctor chose 12 teeth from first molar to first molar, 6 implants supported fixed partial denture could be the ideal. There could be many other factors to choose the numbers of implant on the edentulous arch for full mouth construction like size of implant and the quality of supporting bone, patient's hygiene and the financials. I am taking a snap-over denture to a permanent full upper bridge. I have 5 implants 3 on the right side and 2 on the left is that enough? if the dentist uses the abutments at an angle or do I need 1 other implant. I keep seeing 5 or 6 is fine. Can this be stabled on 5 implants?

Have to see Periapical X rays for the fractured tooth on #8. It could be restored immediate implant after surgical extraction in a same day. Totally depend upon the the surrounded bony structure on #8, the most of case it could be restored at the same day with provisional crown that is fixed for months and replaced by new ceramic crown. thanks

I hav had 1 crown( front tooth) over 15 years. It was still look good. Last year I decided to have my 10 teeth veneers, so the dentist replaced the old crown to the new one together with other 9 porcelain veneers. The fixed of the front veneers didn't look right so he had to remove the new set of 6 front teeth( including the crown) to put another new set on. You can amazing what my real teeth and been suffering. 6 months later as it yesterday, my crown has broken off right on the gum lines.

It is hardly said those because those are dependable upon individuals. I would like to say that the answer is going to be as soon as possible after you lost teeth, the function of chewing or the defective shape and appearance. Totally depends on where you would like to stay, like well-experienced hands, I would say, the immediate implant would be the best,

I just had an upper right molar extracted. It was the one in the center, so I have molars on each side if the gap. Its unfortunate that I had to get a tooth pulled out so young. I'm turning 23, but my filling broke and had a home in the tooth.

Two years ago I got implants, but I didn't know that I have an overbite. Recently, I have been diagnosed with it, but I try to avoid the jaw surgery as it is very costly and invasive. I am thinking about getting sliding genioplasty for aesthetic purposes and then getting vivos DNA, but I am not sure if that would work in my case since I have implants.

Many practitioners made the mistake of not locating fake teeth and prosthetics in this Neutral zone, Instead, they build prosthetics to fit constricted, or resorbed alveolar ridges, Therefore insufficient lips and cheek support result in sagging and drooping well as the frequent tongue bite.

After my all on four procedure, the entire shape of my face has changed and I'm extremely unhappy with it. I am over 1 year post-op and I kinda feel I've just traded one insecurity for another and at the tune of 30k... I have total 'denture-face' from losing so much bulk in the ridge 'reduction' (elimination!) process. Lips are not supported at all... not only do I not look like myself but I look 10 years older and ironically these are all the reasons I did this instead of dentures... :(

Hello, I am looking for treatment advice for TMJ pain caused by clenching at night on my left side, asymmetry, midline misalignment, wider smile, gummy smile(not seen in this picture) and possibly helping with posture. I’ve been researching the DNA Appliance and the AGGA Appliance. Would you suggest either of these or something else? What are the differences between the two? Any other advice? Thank you.

Usually, treatment stops mouth breathing and snoring, TMJ pain. Those who need is going to be the better airflow through the nasal spaces and mouth also, improved bite function and fit of the teeth as well as improved tongue space and posture
