What do I do if my dentist can't get my veneers right? I go in Thursday for cementation and I sent back the 1st set. (photos)

If the color of your porcelain veneers are off, then you will probably need to remake them, depending on many factors including but limited to the following:1- the lab did not use opaquers to block out the color of your prepared teeth2- the lab simply used another color3- possibility that your dentist may need to re-prepare your teeth a little further, so your veneers look natural, and the veneer ceramist, got enough room to fabricate the desired color.It would have been a great idea if you had bleached your teeth before.Regarding black triangles showing between the veneers problem could stem if your teeth might need further preparation, or possibly the laboratory needs to be changed.Try the porcelain veneers on, if still you do not like them, it is better you do not get them bonded permanently.

If you don't like your veneers, I would highly recommend not having them cemented.  Once you have them cemented, it is unlikely that your dentist will be able to redo them at no charge.  You are pretty much throwing away your money if you are not happy with them prior to cementation.  Not to mention that you have to go throw the process of having the cemented veneers removed, re-prepped and then replaced, if you allow the cementation.  Good luck and I hope this helps. If you are not satisfied with your veneers when the dentist tries them in you obviously don't want them to be cemented.  Let you dentist know precisely what it is that you don't like about them so they can address your concerns.  Be careful not to ask for teeth that are too white as they will not look natural.  I am sure your dentist wants you to be happy with your new teeth so work together and you will achieve your goals.  Good luck!
