1 months post op, my nasolabial angle too open. Rhinoplasty bad results. How to fix it? (photos)

Question

A month ago I had a rhinoplasty. I am very sad and dissapointed with results . The doctor left me the nasolabial angle too open and does not look natural. I 'm depressed . All my life I wanted to have a pretty nose and now is worse. I wonder if there is any way to fix this, and how. To lower the tip of the nose and look more natural. Thank you .

I truly think it is way too early to judge the outcome of the surgery.  Rhinoplasty requires incredible skill from the surgeon but also great patience from the patient.  Communicate with your surgeon.  Good luck

When comparing your preoperative photo, the postoperative photo illustrates a more obtuse nasolabial angle, or greater rotation. You are only one month postop following your rhinoplasty so there is a considerable amount of healing that still needs to occur. Small changes will continue to occur 6-9 months after your surgery. If you wait and are still not satisfied with the results, there are several ways to create a more acute nasolabial angle or what is otherwise referred to as counter-rotation of the nose. The most common maneuver in my practice involves placing a septal extension graft which is a reliable way to provide a stable and secure counter-rotation of the nose and nasal tip.

Dear Mrubiop, I do agree with your current assesment however please allow some more time for the healing process to take place as you are early in the recovery phase. It takes an entire year for the nose to completely heal and for all of the swelling to dissipate before considering revision surgery.
