I had a perineoplasty about 6-7 months ago and now out of the blue it seems that it has gone right back to how it was pre-surgery and even worst. My vagina opening is back to pre-surgery and my perineium is now more separated than prior to surgery. Why did this happen? Followed my surgeons advice on healing. No sex or exercise for more than 3 mos. Things seemed to be ok until the last week.

Answer: Why is your perineoplasty more separated than before?
No for the Plastic Surgeon. The colorectal surgeon is well equipped to perform your intra-rectal work, but it is ONLY a Cosmetic Gynecologist or Cosmetic Urogynecologist who can truly reconstruct and rebuild your vagina ("Vaginoplasty") and perineum ("Perineoplaty") and aesthetically re-design...
Using vaginal dilators works well with stretching the perineum. The key is to be consistent. Your cosmetic surgeon will inform you on the brand of vaginal dilators they prefer and the use of them. Another option is having the perineoplasty loosened (reversed) to allow for better penetration....
If you can't afford surgery, don't do anything. Do a virtual consultation with an expert, get a price quote, and save up to get it fixed. Wasting your money on things that don't work won't achieve anything.
