Thank you for your question. It is common to have some swelling after any injection and can take up to 2 weeks to resolve. You can help reduce swelling by applying cold compresses to the treated area. If you have any other concerns please follow up with your injector. Best of Luck!
Botox injections can cause bruising from a small capillary rupture.
Hematomas and bruises will reabsorb within a few days and the pain will improve.
Even though the area is sensitive I would recommend a little ice for the next 24 hours.
