In general we do not recommend cosmetic or elective procedures to be done during pregnancy or breast feeding because there have not been studies on its safety. However PRP is very safe and is done with your own tissues.
With any type of procedure there is a certain level of risk involved. There is a possibility of bruising, hematomas, and infection. However, risk is reduced when you select a highly trained provider the procedure is generally very safe.
The number one recommendation I give patients is to follow a sunblock regimen. The sun rays can be very damaging to the delicate skin and also destroy the PRP effectiveness. The next recommendation is to use ALTAR VAMPIRE SKIN THERAPY cream. The active ingredient in Altar™ is SBD-4. SBD-4 is a patented extract from the root of the plant Angelica sinensis, which grows in the high altitudes of China, Japan, and Korea. SBD-4 has been demonstrated to do some rather remarkable things. One, it increases the microcirculation of the skin. The results of that are obvious, increased delivery of oxygen, increased delivery of nutrients and increased removal of unwanted metabolites through waste. Two, SBD-4 is extremely rich in hyaluronic acid, which binds up to 100 times its weight in water, so it’s extremely hydrating.Three, it’s extremely rich also in arginine, the amino acid that’s very important in maintaining and protecting and repairing the skin barrier.
