Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear of your injection issues. It sounds as if you have developed small blood collections, termed hematomas. I would recommend applying cold compresses for the first 2 days after treatment to help limit further swelling and warm compresses thereafter to help speed absorption and resolution. Let your injector know of your issues, they will be able to closely follow you to ensure no further issues.
Major swelling after Botox injection are rare but occasionally, a small bump forms as result of minor bleeding. Rarely, small painful bumps secondary use of old saline solution to mix Botox have been seen which eventually resolved.
