Can Botox for migraines reduce crows feet? Yesterday my pain mgt doc gave me botox shots for migraines. This was the 1st time.

Generally speaking, the botox needs to be injected in the area where you want to see the effect. In order to treat the crows feet, the botox would need to be injected into the crows feet. Perhaps some of the botox injected in the temple migrated slightly toward the crows feet but I dont think this is likely unless the "temple" injection was pretty close to the crows feet. It depends exactly where the Botox was injected. If it was injected lateral to the eyes, then the reduction of crows feet is due to Botox. If not, then it is due to the peels. If Botox is injected into the temporal muscles (above the ear region), the orbicularis muscle that causes crows feet should not be effected..Dr Mueller
