My daily hair loss is about 15 to 20 hairs when combing or taking a bat, am I a good candidate for a transplant? (Photo)

It is normal to lose up to 100 hairs a day.  If you are concerned about hair loss one suggestion would be to see a doctor for an examination and consultation.

Daily 100-150 hair loss is normal ...But you have a serious thinning on crown area . Most probably you have a androgenetic type hair
loss. I dont advice to use finasteride because of
possible side effects and being under
the necessity of using that chemical for almost life long to stop hair
loss.You may start to use minoxidil %5 to thicken the crown area and stop hair
loss.You would better planning to have an
exam at hair loss expert for hair restoration surgery when you fell
uncomfortable about hair styling or total loss of hair..

A few things you should consider:Losing 15 - 20 hairs per day on your comb is completely normal.  Adults normally shed up to 100 hairs per day due to the normal hair growth cycle, and this is not the cause of balding.You can certainly have a hair transplant to fill out the vertex and crown of your scalp if you want.  You should keep in mind that you only have a finite number of hair follicles in the donor site on the back and sides of your scalp.  Normally the priority with hair transplantation is the frontal and temple hair line.  If you have a transplant now to your vertex and crown but continue to lose hair in the front, you may not have enough donor hair left to have a second transplant for the hairline.  If you have very high hair density on the back of your scalp, you may have enough hair to do two transplant.  If you want to be absolutely sure, wait a few more years and see what happens to the front hairline, and then decide where to best put your hair transplant.I hope this helps.
