Im 25 years old i have a 1 year old son. I have always had a hard time trying to loose weight. I have extra skin on my stomach n I have picked up extra weight from my pregnancy. I have stretch marks. I don't like my body because of my stomach.

Thank you for your pictures.  Regaining your pre-baby body is tough.  If you are a good candidate for cosmetic surgery, then this can help improve your contour.  Cosmetic surgery requires the expertise and surgical skill of uniquely trained individual and their ancillary staff.  All these resources incur cost and therefore a patient incurs a fee for this level of care and service.

I'm not sure why you expect this type of surgery could be performed for free. This is a physiologically significant combination of operations that requires a skilled surgeon and operating room personnel. Why you think this could be performed for free?

Dear punkin,   Thanks for submitting your pictures. From observing your pictures, you have significant skin and muscles laxity, so,  you will benefit dramatically from tummy tuck. Your stomach will be flat. Your body posture will change and you will stand straight which will reduce the strain on your back. Very likely, you will lose significant weight due to the abdominal muscles tightening that will reduce the amount of food that you can eat and your sense of hunger.    Unfortunately for you, this is considered cosmetic surgery which is not covered by medical insurance. So, 'free' surgery does not exist in America. You can have significant discount if you will have your surgery done at a university hospital plastic surgery residency program, where surgery will be done by residents. Obviously, the result will not be the similar to the surgery that is performed by an experienced plastic surgeon .   Another option to losing weight will cost you $7 at Amazon. I recommend to all my overweight patients the book 'Sugar busters' that was written by 3 physicians. It will explain to you the physiology of fat production by our body and by following their recommendation you will lose weight. I , myself, lost 30 pounds in 6 weeks by following their principles. A Mommy Makeover is considered elective and not medically necessary so it is not covered by insurance.  Costs will vary by surgeon and area.  Many accept financing through various companies such as CareCredit and PatientFi which can help patients with the finance side of things.

Congrats on your baby!  From the look of things, you may not yet be back at your pre-baby weight.  Weight loss is free!  Focus on your health and diet.  When you've maximized that, go get a few consultations.  Some surgeons may offer free consultations, but these are elective surgeries and can cost a pretty penny.  If it's something you feel you need, there are financing programs available too.  Good luck!
