I was on accutane for 6 months in 2021. My acne came back in 2023 & I recently went to a different dermatologist. This Dr prescribed me tretinoin and doxycycline. I tried doxycycline before I started accutane in 2021 & it didn’t help my acne. I’ve been using the tretinoin topical for a month & my acne has been awful. I want to do a second round of accutane. How do I tell my new dermatologist that I’d like to do a 2nd round and will she say no or are dermatologists likely to say yes?
