Hello! I have really, really thin hair and a heart shape on my forehead (there are little hair), I do not know how to describe that in more detail. And my hair often falls out so is there any surgery that can make my hair more fuller/thicker? And if I split my hair on two sides, ie at the apex, it's there pretty bald. I don't want to wear extensions or something I just want my hair to look more voluminous (because now it's realy flat). Thank you in advance!
Answer: Thinning Hair. Stimulation of new follicle growth. In my opinion, PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injections, and micro-needling would be an excellent treatment for you!It is normal for us to shed about 50 to 100 hairs a day, and since we have about a million strands of hair on the scalp, this amount of hair loss does not matter and does not cause noticeable thinning of the hair. Also, gradual thinning is a normal part of aging. As we get older, the hair naturally starts to thin out. However, you may become bald if the rate of shedding is more than the rate of re growth or when the new hair is thinner than the old hair that is shed.If baldness has occurred, whether permanent or temporary, it cannot be cured, but it can definitely be hidden. If there is thinning of your hair, it can be treated to help promote hair growth or hide hair loss.Platelet rich plasma, or often termed as PRP, is concentrated blood plasma (composition of blood) that contains approximately five times the number of platelets found in normal circulating blood. Apart from red blood cells and white blood cells, our blood also contains cells known as platelets. The function of platelets is to promote healing and aid in the clotting of blood at the site of a wound. Platelets contain growth factors that promote regeneration of the cells in the body. PRP has been used in medicine for the last two decades. The benefits of platelets and the regeneration of tissue is widely known and accepted in medical literature, but its usage in recent medical conditions is currently being studied. The use of PRP to treat hair loss has the potential to change the way hair loss is treated around the world as it’s a revolutionary, new treatment for hair loss.Platelets aid in clotting of blood which is the key to the body’s ability to heal wounds. The idea behind PRP therapy is that by increasing the platelet count in a wounded area, the body’s healing capacity in that area would be accelerated. The injection of platelet rich plasma (PRP) is a technique using the body’s own blood to heal itself. We incorporate its use for the growth of thinning hair, transplanted hair, and wound healing. Many of our patients have benefited from this form of treatment.I hope this helps!#hairloss #PRP #plateletrichplasma

Answer: Hair transplants into balding areas can make your hair thicker. What you are describing is hair loss rather than the caliber of your hair. If you add hair into the balding areas, it will look thicker. Of course you need to confirm that your hair loss is secondary to androgenic alopecia and not some condition of hair loss that does not respond to hair transplant surgery. There is not surgery that can make hair thicker, however, certain medications and PRP with Acell can make finer hair turn into a coarser hair.
