Hey guys, I'm scheduled for a 2k graft for my M-shaped hairline. Somehow having second thoughts as I'm rather thin haired in nature and worried the risk rewards of it. Especially since my donor area looks thin. The doctor didnt do actual analysis on my hair density of the donor area etc and was rather in a rush so it didnt really make me feel reassured If anyone would be kind enough to assist please i) Is my hair donor area too thin to support a 2k graft transplant? (I am worried itll be overharvested especially its already so thin, you can also see from the top of my sides thinning off) ii) would it even make sense to carry on with this transplant when genetically my parents are also thin haired. or should i wait a few more years to see the full effect if finasteride actually works on me? For context i) i started finasteride for the past 4 months and still not really seeing slowdown in hairfall ii) both my parents have thin hair iii) i have really oily skin and scalp (even on my soon-to-be transplanted area) for context my skin gets shining with oil after 6 hours of washing it (even after moisturiser and toner). worried it might affect the transplant success rates
