Performing the entire procedure at once ensures uniform density, natural direction, and consistent graft survival.
Splitting it into two smaller sessions (for example, 1000 grafts now and another 1000 next year) does not improve graft survival, and may even cause unnecessary trauma or irregular density.

So unless there is a specific medical reason, it’s generally better to complete 2000 grafts in one session for the best, most natural result.
