Hi. I'm considering getting a HT surgery but I'm having a concern; I work offshore on oil rigs and I often spend 30 days with my hard hat on for 6 - 8 hours a day, with also super sweaty head an scalp. Is it safe to get 1 or 2 months off for the surgery then get back to this routine? Also, I'm planning to leave this job in a year, would you recommend I wait till I leave this job completely then do the HT? or is it 100% safe if I just wait 1-2 months recovery then back to work?

You can now wear any hat after 10 days with one exception, helmets. 
You can resume wearing any type of hat, including security helmets after 6 weeks

hello one of the most important after care is to avoid direct sun light and sweating for 2 months but wearing a hard hat it's not recommended at least for 4-6 month after the procedure. if you can use very light hat which let air Follow on your scalp will help or else use a hat which not touches your scalp.
