Breast reduction and HRT/estradiol - If I get a breast reduction and continue taking estradiol will my breasts grow?

It seems reasonable to assume they will. You seem quite sensitive to the estrogen effect. You might consult with your provider about using a smaller dose and see if your breasts get smaller or if you could consider alternate dosage or hormone treatment to control your menopausal symptoms after a breast reduction.

It is possible that your breasts can increase in size after a reduction. This can happen for several reasons including hormones or weight gain. I encourage you to begin by visiting with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns and learn more about the procedure.

If hormonal stimulus is causing rest tissue to grow, then that process may continue despite having a breast reduction.
That said, after a breast reduction, there will be less breast tissue, so the amount of growth in the future should be fairly small.
Talk to your doctor about hormone replacement and see if this needs to be managed differently.
