Is it common to use Pico laser for wrinkles above lips?

Hello I have just paid a substantial amount of money in advance for laser treatment for the wrinkles/smokers lines above my lips. I was shocked during the first session that the technician focused almost half the time on my chin! When I asked her why she said that's part of the treatment area and I said no I never asked for that and I have no concerns about my chin. a is this common to fix myupper lip wrinkles?
