Hip bulge after tummy tuck - how can this be fixed? (Photos)

From the photos it appears liposuction of the fuller area on the hips would improve the contour. Since this is a smaller area there is a possibility that the liposuction could be performed under local anesthesia in the office surgical suite. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.

You probably have some excess fat which can be treated easily with liposuction, or the incision can be extended to remove the excess tissue. either can be done in the office under local anesthesia. Please discuss this with your surgeon.

It seems you have a very nice result from your a tummy tuck. The hip bulge is usually just excess fat which can be liposuctioned. I often wait until about 6 months postop until all of the swelling has disappeared. In some situations, a small extension of the scar may be needed to tighten the skin after liposuction. Good luck.
