I had liposuction 360 on my waist and thighs. as a result, I have some irregularities that honestly make me feel self conscious. If I could go back in time I wouldn't have gotten the procedure :( Cosmetic surgery can be expensive, I wish to know my options and how much improvement would I have before investing in another corrective liposuction. I've read about SafeLipo. but I'm not really sure what to do or where to start. if non invasive would improve it or it would be a waste of money :(
Answer: VASER HI DEF 4D LIPO / 360 Degree Liposculpture / Body Contouring / REVISION Lipo / Skin Removal Surgery Pending a formal evaluation, you may be a good candidate for a Revision Liposuction. You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HI-DEF VASER Liposuction and can only be done by a well-trained body contouring specialist. At the same time, fat should be harvested and purified, with PRP and stem cells added, and then injected into muscles, indentations and cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. For a Brazilian butt lift (BBL), we inject the fat into the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with a combination of QWO or Cellfina, subcision, and/or fillers such as Bellafill, Renuva synthetic fat, or Sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery, then it will need to be removed: tummy tuck/abdominoplasty for lower abdominal skin; breast lift for excess breast skin; and/or a brachioplasty for loose arm skin. Overall, you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. Answer: Uneven after liposuction Dear lili2610, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Could liposuction irregularities improve with non-invasive treatments? These are known as possible complications to any type of liposuction. In my experience correction is difficult, that is why so few boarded surgeon are willing to try. I use invasive S.A.F.E lipo techniques with postop healing injections of Sculptra and aggressive lynmphatic massages about 12-24 sessions. . It is a process over months. Expect fees in the $10,000 ranges. Only very very experience boarded PS shouls offer an attempt.

Answer: Irregularities not fixable with liposuction You have irregularities that are related to skin laxity. The only way to fix these is to consider excisional surgery which will leave you with surgical incision lines. Although the lines will be strategicallly positioned to hide them, you have to be ok with them. Please consider a virtual consulation with a high def body contouring specialist prior to proceeding.

Answer: Poor outcome from Liposuction While you’re out come from Liposuction is less than ideal I have definitely seen people post pictures of a lot worse. The banana roll or outer thigh was overtreated and this is going to be very difficult to correct. You should not have more liposuction in this area. If anything to correct it you would need fat transfer. The torso may be able to be corrected with revision Liposuction but recognize that Revision Work is many times more difficult than primary Liposuction. The back bra roll is also tricky because it tends to have a natural skin laxity with the arm in a down position and some people naturally have a skin fold in this area. To make an assessment on the outcome of the procedure we really need to see proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have those then ask your provider to forward the ones they took. The inherent problem is that your fat distribution is uneven from poorly done Liposuction or fat was removed which shouldn’t have been removed. There is no nonsurgical option that it’s going to correct your fat distribution or replace fat. I think you’ll find all nonsurgical options to be worthless and a complete waste of time and money. Considering revision work is many times more difficult than primary work it goes without speaking that patients who are seeking revisions need to put even more effort into finding the most talented and experienced provider before committing to having the procedure. Delivering consistent high-quality Liposuction results is much more difficult than people believe. Mastering body contouring tags years of practice and dedication to mastering it just this procedure. For this reason I recommend all patients interested in Liposuction to have multiple in person consultations with local experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. During consultations as providers to show their entire collection of before and after pictures and encourage them to include pictures of less than desirable outcomes. And experienced provider should have a minimum of $.50 before and after pictures of bread butter areas like the torso or outer thigh. Seriously experienced providers will have hundreds or potentially thousands of before and after pictures. Secondly I recommend reading all reviews in various physician review websites and avoid providers for any significant number of justified negative reviews. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
