What to do about liposuction fibrosis after lipo fat transfer to my breasts? (Photo)

Question

I had liposuction fat transfer to my breasts, and one of my thighs has bands of fibrosis. I had had Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Myofascial Massage, and cupping. It is still visible. What can I do to make this go away?

Swelling post-lipo can persist for months, so it's important to be on the right after-care protocols. In addition to compression, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and radiofrequency treatments, lymphatic massage is highly effective in the prevention of fluid buildup, scar tissue, inflammation, and infections. Lymphatic massage also decreases the chance of irregularities, lumps or bumps; accelerates healing and minimizes downtime; and, following a liposculpture procedure, can help further contour the abdominals.

I recommend that my liposculpture patients receive lymphatic massage treatments every day for a week following their procedure; twice per week for the following month; and then once per week until healing is complete.

Liposuction is a permanent and irreversible procedure.

Your result is a combination of you not being a good candidate for Liposuction combined with the lack of skill and experience by your provider.

Nonsurgical treatments are not going to impact your fat distribution and honestly there is not much that surgical intervention can do either.

Vetting plastic surgeons appropriately before committing to permanent any reversible procedures is paramount in minimizing disfigurement.

Delivering consistent high-quality Liposuction results is more difficult than people believe.
