(One ear) average. local or general anesthesia? How long will this normaly take to heal? I know that a consultation is necesary cost vary depending on plastic surgeon. This is to have an idea of how much will this be.

Hello and thank you for your question.  The
best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  Based on
your photograph, you may benefit from an otoplasty.  This can be performed under local anesthesia or general anesthesia.  Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

In our practice, we perform the otoplasty procedure under local anesthesia, and patient's  tolerate the procedure quite well without having to undergo a general anesthesia.
