When can Omega 3s and anti-inflammatories be resumed following a microneedling treatment?

We tell patients to avoid taking omega three fatty acids and anti-inflamatory medications few days before and few days after the procedure. Since they have blood thinning properties taking them prior to the procedure can cause slighly more bleeding at pin point areas while doing procedure. Its recommended to avoid anti-inflammatory meds few days (3-5) days after the procedure so they do not interrupt the natural inflamatory process that is occuring in the skin due to microneedling because this will eventually lead to more collagen and elastin formation.
