As a surgeon who has performed hundreds of gynecomastia reductions, I can say I concur with Dr. Scott. Gynecomastia typically has a dual component in which there is usually hypertrophied breast glandular tissue as well as excess fat. SculpSure can certainly address the fatty component, but the dense fibrous glandular tissue will need to be excised as well. If the issue is fat alone, SculpSure will work great. However, if there is gland involved, a better approach would be SmartLipo laser lipolysis followed by direct glandular excision. The best way to determine this is by examining to see if there is just fat which will feel soft and "mushy" as opposed to glandular tissue which feels "rubbery". Your best bet is to see an expert who performs BOTH procedures and get an honest opinion about which procedure is best for you. Hope this helps!
Thank you for your question. Currently, SculpSure is only FDA-approved for the abdomen and flanks. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon in person to determine surgical and non-surgical treatments that have the capability to provide you the outcome that you want to obtain.Best wishes,
Sculpsure can be used on the chest "off label" but to be honest it will not give you a body shaping / contouring result. I suggest seeing a VASER hi def contouring expert if you are looking for chest shaping and/or glad removal. Best, Dr. Emer.
SculpSure could potentially be used to reduce fat on a man's chest, but this would be considered an off-label use because the device is currently FDA-approved for only treating the abdomen and flanks. An exam would be needed to determine if someone might be a good candidate for the procedure.
If your Gynecomastia is only due to fat and not breast tissue, then, yes, SculpSure could help. It isn't FDA approved for the chest so the using it there would be considered "off label". However, if you haven't had your chest examined in person by a board certified plastic surgeon then I would suggest that you do so before seeking any kind of non-surgical treatment. Best of luck.
Thanks for sharing your question. I canappreciate your concern.Sculpsure is design for the destruction of fat. If excess fat is present in the male chest, this could be a good procedure. Moderate distance from the ribs is required, because the bone overheats making the procedure more painful. Finally, make sure that you have aconsultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.Wishing you the best in your journey
SculpSure can be used for male breasts/chest if there is enough subcutaneous fat present. I personally have had this treatment on my chest and I am happy with the results, in fact I am going to have a 2nd treatment to improve the results.
It is very important to determine whether the male chest fullness is due to excess fatty tissue alone or as a result of more firm fibrous glandular tissue. If the primary problem is glandular tissue then surgical excision is the only effective treatment. If the fullness is all fatty tissue then certainly SculptSure is an option.
Thank you for your question. SculpSure can be used safely on the flanks, abdomen, upper arms, thighs, knees and other locations with fat deposits suchas the chest area. So it can be used to treat male gynecomastia (man boobs). However, if you are looking for more of a contouring result, another option isSmartLipo as SculpSure is more of a spot fat reduction than for fullcontouring. If you are interested, it’sbest to have a full in person consultation with a qualified physician so thatthey can review that area and help you decide which treatment would bettersuite you.
Thank you for your question. While considered "off-label," SculpSure can be used to better define a man's chest. We have used SculpSure to help several body builders have even greater definition of their chests. SculpSure can also be used to treat male gynecomastia. Liposuction is another alternative for treating this condition in men. Please make sure that you seek an evaluation from an experienced surgeon or dermatologist who uses other modalities to treat the chest. He or she will be able to correctly determine whether you have superficial fat that can be disrupted. With Sculpsure patients will see initial results at around 6 weeks after treatment and optimal results at 12 weeks after treatment. If you are planning to treat the same area, I would wait a minimum of 6 weeks and ideally 12 weeks. The reason is that at 6 weeks there will still be i...

SculpSure wouldn't be any harm to you however you must meet with a board certified Dermatologist to determine whether this treatment is right for you.
