Dear john_ssThank you for writing in with your question. At 3.5 months following a procedure, you should just start to see the first few new follicles sprouting new hair. A certain percentage of the hairs should have just stayed where they were placed, and continued to grow where they were placed. This percentage will vary, depending on whether PRP was used in conjunction with your procedure, how long the grafts were outside your body (a function of the talent, experience, and dedication of your physician and his surgical team of technicians), among other factors. The hairs that shed out in the weeks following your procedure should return asynchronously from about month 3 to about month 8. Most patients experience a large growth phase in months 4-6 or so. However, you may be a late bloomer, and your hairs may experience their growth phase in months 5-9. I hope this information is helpful to you.
nor tally the transplanted hair falls down between the 2nd week and the 2nd month. The regrow starts from the 3 rd month. Around 60-70%of the results can be seen in 6 month but for the 100% you should wait around 12-15 months
Generally hair starts togrow within 3.5 to 4 months after a hair transplant and restore its thicknesswithin 6-12 months. But improvementscould continue into the 18th month. The density depends on thethickness of your donor hair prior to the hair transplantation. If you desiremore fullness after 18 months, considerdoing a follow up hair transplantation procedure.
Every patient is different but it may take six to twelve months after surgery to see results. If you are concerned follow up with your doctor.
At 3.5 months I would expect to see minimal growth in most patients. It's possible a patient may have significant growth already, and its also possible a patient may have zero growth at that time. It really just comes down to the specifics of the specific patient and their procedure.
This really varies from patient to patient. On average you should see growth between 3-5 months. In 3.5 months I wouldn't expect much growth. Maybe some sprouting if any at all.
I would not expect much growth in 95% of patients. A few grow earlier, but most start their growth phase somewhere between 5-7 months and usually by 8 months, there is hair at least 1 inch long.
Dear Bigben2010,Thank you for posting your question. In some cases, you can get shock loss, or telogen effluvium, from the donor area. This means a temporary shedding of hairs around the sites from which you had hair extracted with the FUE procedure. This tends to be self-limited, and usually...
Dear EthanJones,Thank you for writing in with your question. Medical studies of pulled hairs show that when transplanted, they do not form follicles and will not grow new hair. The hair is simply the product of the hair follicle, much the same way your nails are a product of the nailbeds at...
Without local anesthesia the hair surgery will be a torture and I personally would not let any patient have hair surgery without anesthesia.Eventhough your concerns with anesthesia may have some points I can't imagine how stable a patient could be during the surgery without local anesthesia.I...
