I have a lipoma on my abdomen it is caused by improper use, training and instruction of an insulin pump when I was still very young. I live in a small town so there aren't a lot of treatment options. I was referred to plastic surgery in the hopes of using liposuction to remove the lipoma. They declined to see me and suggested that I see general surgery. I was referred to general surgery and they said the scar would be very big. Should I try and find a provider who can do liposuction?
