My nose is too lifted. Can I get a reduction or have it fixed without going through more surgery? (Photo)

More than 2 weeks ago i got surgery on my nose..i had a small hump and wanted it removed with a natural lift of the nose as well..now i feel my nose is too lifted and wanted it lowered a bit..is there anyway to lower it or do i have to go through another procedure??

It will generally take up to a year for you to see the final results of your nose surgery.  During that time you will see more drastic changes in the first few weeks to months.  It is common for the tip of your nose to look too high at first.  I tell my patients not to worry if they resemble "Miss Piggy" as this is temporary and often due to swelling of the tip and just below the nose that makes it look like it was lifted up too much.  This will improve with time and healing...discuss this with your surgeon.  You will most likely not need any additional surgery.

Thank you for the photo and question but you are way too early to judge your final result and the tipwill probably drop on its own as swelling leaves the noseDr Corbin
