What causes the bunny lips during a lip lift?

The cause of the bunny lip appearance after a lip lift is how the design of the area of skin to be removed is done. If more skin is removed in the middle compared to the sides then that is the look you will end up with. I do a fair amount of revision lip lifts because many surgeons are doing this who do not have a lot of experience performing the procedure. The goal of a lip lift should be to keep the shape of the border of the lip similar while shortening the overall length in a balanced way.
