How to fix dents after rhinoplasty?

I’m 10 months post op and these dents on the sides of my nose are getting more and more obvious.. what caused this? And what can fix this? Besides filler. I don’t want to risk occlusion.

Hi there! The area in your photo is near what is referred to as the alar sulcus / lateral nasal sidewall. This area normally houses the lower lateral cartilages and provides support to the nose not only at baseline, but when breathing inward. The cause could be lack of support in the area or excess contracture from scarring. Options to fix this would include placement of small cartilage grafts, mobilization of the cartilage to a new position, or fascia to improve the indentions. I would wait at least past the 12 month mark to ensure that full healing has occurred. Hope that helps.
