There is not one universal white blood cell count that makes liposuction or BBL safe for every patient. A low WBC count needs context: the absolute neutrophil count, why it is low, whether it is chronic or new, your medications, infection history, and the size of the planned surgery all matter. For elective surgery, unexplained leukopenia should usually be evaluated and stable before proceeding. This is especially important for a larger procedure such as liposuction with BBL, where infection prevention, wound healing, and overall medical resilience matter. Ask your surgeon and primary care doctor or hematologist to review the full CBC with differential, not just the total WBC number. If the count is significantly low, dropping, associated with fever or illness, or due to an unknown cause, elective surgery should be postponed until you have medical clearance.
