Will the doctor remove part of my enamel to get rid of the resin or additives can be used for the removal, instead? Also, will the removal be as costly as applying the veneers?

Good morning and thank you for your question. In my office we do not charge for removal of the composite veneers, when we replace them with a lot better option of porcelain veneers. Removing of composite usually does not require removal of enamel.All the best to you.

Difficult to answer the question without knowing if the dentist who placed these removed some enamel. They certainly can be removed and replaced with beautiful porcelain veneers which won't discolor or stain.Find an experienced dentist to treat this.

Depending on what your treatment will be once the bonding is removed can dictate how the material is taken off. The material is mostly drilled away but can be fully polished away using special rubber wheels in order to not remove any tooth structure. This way, your enamel stays completely intact. This process should typically be included in the veneer fee. I hope this helps!

He or she can easily grind off the composite and be able to see where the enamel starts. Then, they will adjust the tooth as they feel necessary to make you an excelletn estetic veneer.
