QUESTIONS ANSWERED

That's not black cement, the black is metal not covered by porcelain. Don't know if this was discussed before the treatment began but you can have a strong, all porcelain bridge without metal underneath. It is possible that it was done this way because of your bite, but that cannot be determined by just the photo. In any case, it appears the bridge is functional and it won't be terribly noticeable to others. Sorry about your disappointment .Best of luck

Very sorry about your whitening experience. Looks like the isolation wasn't good and some of the acid etch used to whiten the teeth pooled with the saliva which then got on to your lips causing a superficial burn. Try using some Vitamin E oil multiple times per day on the lips and avoid hot or spicy foods , and nothing with sharp edges like chips or pretzels. You can also put some ice on to limit the swelling. Take some Motrin as necessary. May take a few days for this to heal.Let your dentist know what happened so he can monitor your healing

Good question  My feeling would be that if this started a week after the treatment was completed, not likely it is of dental origin related to the procedure. Go back to the dentist to explain your situation .

There are many reasons that you may be seeing your tooth and the end of the veneer. Could be related to your bite, could be related to the preparation of the veneer, gum inflammation, etc. Since these are only 3 weeks old and this result is bothering you, head back to the dentist again for a discussion and discuss your dissatisfaction.

You have some cavities in your front teeth. You need an evaluation of why you are getting these at such a young age. Probably some dietary issues going on that can be addressed to help prevent more of this from going on. Then simply get these problems fixed with nice tooth colored fillings. If you are anxious about having this done, consider finding a dentist that does sedation dentistry to get you comfortable.

Your situation appears to be a combination of orthodontic treatment first and veneers to really make this a beautiful case. You are going to be really happy with the result

The answer to your question is based on how much tooth structure is broken or decayed and how much good tooth structure remains. Without photos and xrays of these teeth, would be very hard to make a determination. If there is enough of your tooth that is in good condition, most likely you would be able to keep them and have a beautiful smile created.

Broken File in Root Canal

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Broken files happen. May not indicate anything was done incorrectly because sometimes things just happen and files can break in a tooth .If the tooth was cleaned out well, there may no untoward consequences at all. If you are concerned, schedule a consult with a root canal specialist and see what their opinion would be going forward

Dental Crown loose/came out. What’s next?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Difficult to give an exact answer without seeing an xray or the actually tooth remaining under the crown. Need to know what the abcess is coming from and why the crown came off. Perhaps there is a simple solution but more likely, further work will need to be done if there is decay underneath or the crown simply doesn't fit but just recementing is probably not the long term answer you are looking for.

As an actress, your smile is extremely important. Composite veneers done by an experienced dentist can look great but these don't. And you are very unhappy. Find an experienced dentist who can place some beatiful porcelain veneers and you will be happy with the result for many years.
