Spectrum Adjustable Saline Breast Implant.... are these implants safe?

Adjustable saline implants have been around a while.  It's not a bad idea, however, the implants are quite a bit more expensive than regular saline implants and it's hard to justify the extra expense.

Hello, a small percentage of my patients choose these implants.  Changing their volume via the remove fill port is fairly straightforward and the person does not need to take antibiotics prior to adjusting their volume.  In my practice I only use these implants for very challenging cases, like chest wall deformities (e.g.. pectus excavatum)

I have extensive experience with this implant experimentally and with a large number of patients. They tend to be more stable then other saline implants. Adjustments are only about two shot glasses in difference or a quarter of a cup size in s Bra. My preference is to use gummy bear form stable implants which may last longer then the saline implants.
