Is there anything I can do besides hyaluronidase injections to make Juvederm dissolve faster?

I got my lips done by a very reputable dr in Beverly Hills and I hate them but I've read bad things about hyaluronidase and I've heard it's very painful so I want nothing to do with it. Plus I don't trust the surgeon that did my lips because he is very moody and always rushed. I'm afraid he will just make them look worse. I need to find a new dr for injectables in the LA area, who are some of the absolute best? I have a small face and delicate features so I need a doc that does very subtle work.

Thank you for your question.Hyaluronidase is used to dissolve fillers and is not any more painful than the initial Juvederm injection. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a
complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for

Sorry that it didn't go well for you.Dissolving fillers with hyaluronidase is not more painful than the original injection.  Try using some topical numbing cream for a few minutes (10-15) before procedure.If you want a more subtle look, you may also want to look into Restylane Silk.

I suggest going to an innovative injector who uses cannulas to fine tune the lips and get improvement without any pain or swelling or bruising.  Hyaluronidase is safe but needs to be injected precisely.  Find someone with expertise and someone you trust.  Its not always about reputation find someone who is about your experience and results. Hi Ashley. Sorry to hear about your experience with your lip fillers and your injector. Dissolving Juvederm with Hyaluronidase is perfectly safe and should not be anymore uncomfortable than your actual lip injections. This also has a lot to do with injection techniques. I do various different things to make sure my patients are comfortable during their injections. If you are still concerned the Juvederm can be dissolved over a couple of sessions. The important thing is that you find an injector you feel comfortable with. Make sure you view their before and after pictures, and discuss your goals with them. Make sure they share the same conservative approach with lips as you do. Hope this helps!

Hyaluronidase is the only thing that will allow you to remove unwanted HA from the area where it was injected.  If it is in your lips and you are worried about pain, you can ask the doctor who is injecting you to give you numbing cream or do a block so that you do not feel any pain.

There is nothing to be afraid of with hyaluronidase. I think the bad rap is that the same bad injectors of the original filler are also bad with dissolving it.  Go see Dr Persky and he'll fix you up.

Fortunately I have never had the need to inject my patients with it to dissolve filler as I am probably considered a conservative injector.
