Hi there! There is no problem with treating with CoolSculpting with the procedures you have had! I recommend consulting with a local CoolSculpting provider in-person to determine exactly what you will need! Good luck!
yes coolsculpting can be performed if you have a had a knee replacement I suggest seeing an expert because liposuction maybe better for you in this area with internal heating like renuvion.
There would not be a problem with performing CoolSculpting on someone who has had knee replacements and a screw and staple in the feet. CoolSculpting will only draw in the skin and fat on the treated area and will only affect the fat.
Hello and thank you for your question. I don’t see a problem getting Cool Sculpting with the orthopedic procedures you’ve had. That being said, always tell your doctor or provider about any prior surgeries and procedures you’ve had in the past. Best of luck to you.Dr. T
Hello and thank you for your question. Surgery with screws on the knee will not effect your cool sculpting treatments. Always tell your provider about any previous surgeries or medical issues. Make sure you consult with a board certified, coolsculpt certified, experienced practitioner. Hope this helps!
CoolSculpting, or cryolipolysis is a focal freezing of external fatty deposits which will destroy fat cells and reduce fullness in that specific area. Full knee replacements, a screw in your foot or foot staples are not a contraindication to CoolSculpting as these areas would not be effected by the treatment.
Thank you for your question. It is important that you inform your doctor or CoolSculpting practitioner of any outstanding medical issue prior to your treatment. That being said, I see no reason not to (cautiously) proceed given the orthopedic issues that you have described.
There would be no contraindications to having CoolSculpting with orthopedic hardware The real question is if you are a candidate for CoolSculpting based on your overall goals and physical exam You should consult with an experienced provider who can best advise you.
Thanks for the question. There should be no problems having CoolSculpting after knee replacements, foot screws or staples. What is most important is whether you are a good candidate for CoolSculpting - for instance, are you within 20-30 lbs of your ideal body weight and do you have good skin quality in the area to be treated.
