I am about 2 months post op and I feel like my breast are too big. Im 5'1 and 108 lbs with 415 cc implants on both sides. I sized up a bit because everyone including my doctor said I would lose some size after placing the implant under the muscle, however, most of my swelling has gone down and I still feel like they're still bit too large for my size. Will they continue to get smaller as they continue to settle ???

Answer: BA Post op Results dear Patient: thanks so much for your question. Two months out is still too early to see your final results. Eventhough most of your swelling is gone, there is still more stretching and settling of the implant going on. At six months you will have a better idea of what the permanent results will look like. Hope this helps!

Answer: BA results Dear diazerica95,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 4 days post op. Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am.
