can i use topical steroid for hair growth while on accuatne?

hello, I've been on accutane for a while and have been experimenting some thinning/balding where my receding hair line is. I was wondering if it would be possible to use a topical steroid to help induce hair growth before this issue gets more severe while I am on accutane.
