What procedures can be used to get a bigger butt?

Allow me to answer your question as best i can without any photos. Also, please keep in mind that an in-person consultation with physical exam is first necessary before any legitimate evaluation or final surgical recommendations can be made. Like any booming fad or fashion, there are always scammers looking to get a peice of the action and make quick/easy profits.  Well as the saying goes, "anything too good to be true, usually is (not true)". Unfortunately the ripe new world of buttock augmentaion has become the next victim with a bunch of nonsense magical creams, potions, lotions and pills...NONE OF WHICH WORK AND ARE NOT FRAUGHT WITH SERIOUS SIDE-EFFECTS/COMPLICATIONS. It is not yet possible to take a substance that will only and exclusively makes your derrière grow. Other than being genetically blessed in the buttock and/or performing consistent rigorous exercise, there is no "natural" way to grow the buttock other than surgery.Unfortunately, because ~80+ % of the fat transferred will melt away within a year, most patients are not good candidates because they lack an adequate amount of fat to harvest. Beware, if a surgeon asks you to purposely gain weight (i.e. fat) before BBL, know that the fat you lose first as you get back to your baseline weight after surgery is that very same fat that was transferred into your buttock, hence your new buttock shrinks first, fast, and the most...so don't fall victim to this recommendation. Even those patients that had adequate amounts of fat pre-operatively, still end up seeking buttock implants after a year or so because most of the fat transferred melted away leaving them with minimal result.  Bottom line, if you're looking for a reliable, predictable, long-term permanent option, buttock and hip implants are your only solution. It is very difficult to determine the exact size and shape implant you will require to best match your ideal butt image without an examination by a board certified plastic surgeon. Not just any board certified plastic surgeon, but one with many years of frequently performing breast augmentation surgery including different approaches, techniques and implant choices. This is because several measurements not to mention your breast characteristics are needed to determine the optimal implant size to obtain your goals. Without knowing these dimensions it would be difficult to make this determination. For example, the existing base width of your buttock will determine, in many cases, the maximal volume per implant profile that you can accommodate. Liposuction of your lower back and fat transfer is also helpful as an adjunct to implants. Using “want to be” photos however are useful if simply provided to the surgeon.

Thank you for your inquiry, buttock implants are suggested if you desire augmentation but are very slim, if you do not have enough fat to achieve the results you are looking for. A bit of liposuction could be preformed to fill in the thighs area to give a natural look. I suggest seeking a board certified plastic surgeon, best of luck!

Dear Julie.l,two approved procedures for buttocks augmentation are fat transfer (BBL) and implant. In case you don't have enough fat to consider fat transfer, then butt implants are the only option left. Or you can try with exercises to get bigger buttocks. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Some options that are available would include an autologous fat transfer, which involves removing fat from other parts of your body and using it to add volume, and butt implants. Be sure to bring up any questions or concerns that you may have during your consultation with your board-certified plastic surgeon. 

Hello and thank you for your inquiry. It is difficult to assess what exactly can and cannot be done without photo reference. A Brazilian Butt lift can normally be achieved even if slim but depending on just how slim you are your board certified plastic surgeon will determine whether or not you would need to gain a few more pounds. If gaining a bit of weight is not a problem for you, then I suggest you opt for the Brazilian Butt lift and get a fat transfer from your own waist and hips. Your fat will insure that your buttocks will always remain looking natural to both the eye and the touch. Butt implants can also be an option to you. Here in Canada Butt Implants are not yet approved and you would need to look for a plastic surgeon outside of the country. Hi JulieThe best options for buttock augmentation would be your own fat transferred from the trunk and/of thighs (BBL - Brazilian Butt Lift) or gluteal implants made of silicone.The former has a more natural result with the advantage of small (less than 1 cm) incisions and includes sculpting the trunk to give an hour glass figure while the other is a bigger operation involving a larger incision and placement of the implants under the gluteal muscle.Please see a board-certified Plastic surgeon for an in-person exam and he or she based on that will recommend the appropriate option for you.I hope this helps.....
