The cost of a Fleur de lis tummy tuck can vary depending on the time of surgery and experience of surgeon but typically is in the range of 8000- 12,000 which usually includes operating room costs, anesthesia and surgical garments. Consult with a few experienced surgeons in person for a thorough exam and review of your medical history.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno
The cost of a tummy tuck generally varies depending on the extent of surgery (mini, full, extended tummy-tuck, fleur de li, amount of liposuction required), operative time and geographic location. You can see average prices in your area under the cost tab of the procedure pages on RealSelf. Take a look at the attached web reference for our prices. I would recommend a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Best regards, Andrew Lyos MD, FACS Tweet
Thank you for your photos and questions. When an incision is present in the right upper quadrant the chance of healing problems after a tummy tuck increases significantly. Your surgeon was discussing a possible option to avoid a healing problem. This may or may not be necessary. At this time you need to focus on maximizing your chances of a wonderful result and I would encourage you to lose more weight before considering any operation at all. Complications from tummy tuck rise dramatically when the abdominal skin and fat are thick. This usually correlates with a BMI above 30. BMI is body mass index. There are calculators on the internet which can tell you what your BMI is based on your height and weight. If this is a challenge for you seek out a provider who can help you with this. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon with significant experience in body contouring to address this issue for you .Good luck and I hope this was helpful
Dear olivia69,the cost of surgery depends on a lot of factors (type of surgery, number of treated areas, anesthesia fee, surgeon, facility fee, city, etc.). It would be the best to visit or call plastic surgery offices and ask for a price.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
Hi, thanks for sharing your concern and photos with us!Looking at your photos I might say that you´ll be a great candidate to get an entire back, waist and flanks liposuction, with BBL, and tummy tuck, this is because all the extra skin located in this areas plus your abdominal muscle needs to be repaired. Before all this, of course, you need to get a complete medical evaluation and laboratory exams to check everything is fine. Also please try to find a board certified plastic surgeon, remember that your safety, always, is going to be first. Have a great day! Dr. JPG
Thank you for your question and photos. Tummy tuck quotes really depend on how long the surgery will take and if muscle tightening is necessary. Its best to seek in person consultation for evaluation and quote. Best of luck to you
Dear Ms. Olivia69,Thank you for your questions and photo.Total costs are based on several components:A)what part of the country you have your surgery (coastal cities higher than inland cities)B)surgeons fees (more experienced surgeons are higher than less experienced)C)anesthesia fees (nurse anesthetist vs Bd. Cert. Anesthesiologist) D)facility fees (operations done in a hospital setting are usually higher in total cost)E) special equipment neededPlease search RealSelf website, Surgery.org, or PlasticSurgery.org. for the sections on the average costs and fees. Most Plastic Surgeons have financing options avavailable.I feel compelled to state that while total cost should always be taken into consideration it is your body and we usually "get what we pay for".I recommend that you make several consultative appointments with Plastic Surgeons who are experienced and Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. In addition ideally they are members of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (denoting by membership as having met additional criteria and a focus on Cosmetic Plastic Surgery).I wish you my best and success,R. You don't necessarily need a fleur de lis, but may need one because of your scar on the right. I make the decision in surgery based on the appearance of the skin. Approximate cost is $7800.
Thank you for the question and pictures. Based on your photographs, you may be an excellent candidate for tummy tuck surgery at some point. Generally speaking, the “ideal” patient for tummy tuck surgery is one who has completed pregnancies, is medically/psycho socially/emotionally/financially stable, has an excellent social support system surrounding him/her, does not smoke, is capable of arranging enough recovery time and who has reached a long-term stable weight. Keep in mind, that tummy tuck surgery, of any kind, will not "get rid of" the previous (?cholecystectomy) scar. Also, patients who have had long transverse scars may experience problems with blood supply to the abdominal wall flap raised during tummy tuck surgery. A limited undermining tummy tuck operation (with the standard transverse incision) performed by a well-placed board-certified plastic surgeon will be your best bet. When it comes to cost of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The exact operation planned, the specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure ( quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider… are some of the potential variables involved. You will find average costs of surgery listed on this website, and on individual plastic surgeon's websites as well. In regards to outcome of the planned procedure, more important than costs of the procedures will be careful selection of your plastic surgeon. I would suggest starting with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. ***Ask to SEE lots of examples of their work AND preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done. Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. When the time is right, seek consultation with well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons who can demonstrate significant experience (and safety record) achieving the types of outcomes you will be pleased with. Best wishes.
Thank you for the question and photos but I would go on complimentary consultations with experts and be examined and compare recommendations and photos of similar patients and compare fees and find your surgeon Dr Corbin
