I've been on Accutane for 18 weeks and I have not had any side effects. No dry skin. Not even dry lips. I still have my normal breakouts. My dermatologist thinks I'm not absorbing the medication. I weigh 100 pounds. He started me on 20mg once per day. Then after 8 weeks increased to 30mg. And now for the last 5 weeks I have been on 40mg once per day. How come i am not getting any dryness in my skin. Is the medication not working?
