Is TCA CROSS for ice pick scars safe while on Accutane?

I’m currently on my 5th month of Accutane on 40mg. My skin is overall clear but I’m left with lots of icepick scarring! I want to treat my scars as soon as possible, but I’m not sure if TCA would be safe during my treatment.

I would highly recommend seeing an experienced cosmetic dermatologist for a formal evaluation to determine if TCA Cross is actually the best solution for you. Acne scar treatment typically needs a combination approach for real improvement. Deep ice pick scars are often treated with TCA Cross and punch excision, but the majority of patients will have a collection of different scar types. Hence, a tailored treatment plan is needed by an expert physician.
